The Kellogg School of Management is the business school of the Northwestern University at Evanston, Illinois in United States. The school is best known for its executive level programs, the first of which was started in 1951 as a four-week summer program. Today, all executive programs are offered from James L. Allen center, popularly called Allen Center that was opened on 31st Oct. 1979.

Prior to that in 1976 The Kellogg School first offered a degree program called the Executive Management Program, now globally famous as the Executive MBA program.

As of today the institute provides numerous executive programs that cover various facets of business management like General Management, Marketing and Sales, Strategy, Finance and Accounting, Governance, Technology and Operations and Leadership. But, the most popular among all these courses is the Kellogg Executive MBA Program which is targeted at executives in middle and senior management profiles.

In cognizance of packed working schedules of the desired candidates the school has put in place three program schedules a year. All aspects of the program, be it faculty, curriculum or support system; remain unchanged for all the three schedules.

It is different from regular MBA programs in the sense that students can pursue it while working full-time. It is structured in such a way that a high degree of emphasis is laid over management principles like teamwork and cross-cultural collaboration apart from global leadership skills and adaptability.

Talking of flexibility students can complete their research projects and elective courses from anywhere in the world. Students of the program represent multiple nationalities, and same holds true with the faculty. They are the best scholars, researchers and consultants from the world and are master of the global business management principles.

Apart from its own, the Kellogg School also offers joint degree in Executive MBA program with the best of global business schools. The list includes the Schulich School of Management in Canada, the WHU-Otto Beisheim School of Management in Germany among others.

Keeping in view all these facts it is not surprising that the likes of The Economist, Business Week and The Wall Street Journal consider The Kellogg Institute of Management as the best.
