The University of Hong Kong is one of the leading universities in Asia and is probably the best in the continent. The academic staff of the University is truly world class and they are known for their engrossing lectures.

The University has 24 hours computer and networking services and the library has a very large collection which is also accessible online. The Language Center conducts courses in different languages so that the students can work on their language proficiency. Hong Kong University offers accommodation, both on and off campus. All the rooms are air-conditioned and fully furnished. There are other facilities on campus such as prayer room, laundry room, TV and games room, music room, computer room and study room. HKU does offer scholarships to its students including the research and postgraduate students. The chances of bagging a scholarship are really very high and the cost of studying at HKU are very low compared to the other world class universities across the globe. There are many scholarship schemes available so the chances of you being considered for one of those are very high.
International tuition fees are 120,000 HKD per annum which is still very low. Accommodation costs are also very low, so the overall costs of studying here are actually very low.
There are certain courses which require higher English language requirements.
A second language qualification other the English is required but this does not necessarily be Chinese.
