However, in order to be eligible for this scholarship the student must be a candidate for the free federal school launch programme.

Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship

This scholarship programme is designed for low income bracket students who immediately require financial help to get on with the expensive education system of the private high schools. The scholarship list is based on the merit where the most meritorious one gets the help first. The amount of the scholarship may vary according to the ranking and student requirement.

Guardsmen Scholarship

This scholarship programme is also tailor-made for the disadvantaged children of California Bay Area. It believes in the motto of equal education opportunity for every student whatever be the creed or station in life. All the students who are getting deprived and losing out because of the less than stellar education level of the public schools can apply for this scholarship. Negative environment in the public schools often dissuade students and they drop out and remain uneducated.

Students are selected on the basis of a lottery system and the partial funding responsibility of the chosen candidates is shouldered by the foundation members, guardians of the student need to take care of the rest of the amount.

Catholic Education Scholarship

This scholarship programme is designed for the Catholic educational institute of the southern California region where a scholarship nearing an amount of $2000 is given out every year to the deserving students.
